Summerset Isle has 4 Companions
The companions in Summerset Isle can follow you while you're playing the game and be your ally. These companions can fight by your side, carry equipment and perform other tasks. Summerset Isle companions are not killable and will follow you until you dismiss them or you have offended them.
Of the 4 companions, one is simple one is advanced and two are full companions. The simple and advanced companion either hold you infallible or have no moral compass. These two will not be updated to be romanceable unless there is enough support for that. The 2 advanced companions have an affinity system with likes and dislikes and simply will not be a part of certain playthroughs as they have strong opinions.
There is no limit to the companions that you can have in your party, however you will not be able to marry both advanced companions at the same time when that option is included.
Summerset Isle companions determine if they like you based on introduction dialogue to determine whether they think you are well suited to travel together.
The advanced companions will be romanceable/marriageable in a later update.
